Hols are coming up, finally! Feels like it's taken forever to get to this point, hasn't it? Don't bother giving me ideas for your gifts. I am the best gift-giver ever to live and you'll all think that my present is the absolute greatest. | | Saturday, April 26th, 2008 | | 4:04 pm |
[PRIVATE TO ANTHONY, MICHAEL, TERRY, KEVIN & EDDIE]
Things have definitely quieted down on the Psycho Ravenclaw Ladies front, but I'm pretty sure it isn't over yet. What's with Mandy eating with the younger years? Has she said so much as two words to any of you over the past two days? Ugh. I don't know, I can't get her to talk to me at all. She said that if she was "cute" and "adorable" and "whined very loudly", that we'd all be backing her like we're supposedly backing Melinda. Honestly, mates, I'm not backing anyone. None of this makes enough sense for me to pick sides, not that it would even be an option being that it's all between friends and whathaveyou. We can't just let her sit off by herself, though.
And I STILL don't know who is writing these bloody notes! I mean, I've gotten two more since the last and I still don't have even a general idea. Bavardage says it starts with an 'M'.
WHY IT COULDN'T BE MANDY: Girls act a certain way when they fancy someone, I think. Mandy doesn't act that way towards me, not that I've seen. Um. We're pretty good friends, but I think that's it and I haven't seen any notable evidence to the contrary.
WHY IT COULDN'T BE MORAG: We had something about two summers ago. It was fun, it was great, she's an amazing person, but I think if she had any sort of those feelings still lingering about, it really wouldn't be too hard for her to let me know. I think she'd have no problem telling me. And besides, the letters are written in a way that makes it sound like the girl hasn't ever dated me before.
WHY IT COULDN'T BE MELINDA: Easy one. She hasn't got room for anything else in her head besides Tony, seems like. Also, she'd probably be a little more forgiving when I accidentally piss her off for one reason or the other.
WHY IT COULDN'T BE MICHAEL: Mike's a bloke, I'm sure this is a girl. She's got the girly handwriting and the one note was detailed enough for me to be willing to bet my life that it's a bird. Just trust me.
Okay, so. Thanks for humoring me. Any ideas?

I don't even know what to say. Was that one bit about me? Half of that probably isn't even true, so try not to get riled up over it. Especially that bit about me. | | Friday, April 18th, 2008 | | 9:26 pm |
( SPELLOTAPED )
LOOK, EVERYONE! I'M SNOGGING MANDY BROCKLEHURST!
[MORAG] Go with it, mate, will you? [/private] | | Thursday, April 17th, 2008 | | 7:50 am |
However incredibly lazy as it might seem, I'm about three minutes away from hiring someone else to write these two essays that I've been putting off for far longer than I ever really should have. I just haven't felt inclined to start, nor have I had any ideas to base anything off of. Ugh. These things usually come to me a lot easier. Divination isn't my strong point, at least there's an excuse for that one, but Transfiguration? I really, really shouldn't be having any problems at all with that one.
The ball's nearing, and I've coerced the ever-lovely Padma Patil into asking me. You'll have a good time, though, Padma, no worries! Everyone will see how great our dancing is and then they'll clear the floor, that's pretty much how ashamed they'll be. If I'm supposed to match you in some way, let me know, alright?
[PRIVATE TO ANTHONY]
I guess you must've seen this, but she almost didn't go. She seems rather upset, but I think it'll be fine. She's going with me, so she'll have a better time than if she went with you, anyway.
KIDDING! Really, though, everything'll work out.

Personally, I think that the date auctions aren't such a bad idea. In a school so obviously obsessed by relationships or things involving a little less commitment, what better way to raise money? I'm well aware that most of you aren't completely enthused by this, but would it really kill you to go along with it? It's for a charitable cause. All you have to do is be in someone's company for a little while. Besides, who doesn't like secret admirers? Regardless of how outraged you're acting about this, I'm sure that it's even just the slightest bit of an ego boost to know that people are willing to auction to date you.
I plan on bidding to support the cause. Not sure for who yet, but I'm certainly not one to object to contributing to charity. | | Monday, March 31st, 2008 | | 4:40 pm |
It's really pitiful that someone would sink so low as to write that sort of rubbish. It shows not only a severe lack of respect for others, but also for ones self. Hopefully, this won't be a regular thing. We're too old for these games, aren't we? | | Thursday, February 28th, 2008 | | 10:57 pm |
Classes start Monday and I have a feeling that this year is definitely going to be a good one. Stranger things have happened, right? |
